Higher Secondary Programme

Jawaharlal Nehru College offers two years Higher Secondary (H.S.)programme in Arts and Science stream under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) with a seat capacity of 600 students (Arts - 480, Science - 120) every year.

Eligibility for the programme:passed in HSLC or equivalent Exam.

The subjects that are offered by the college in H.S.are :

Compulsory Subjects:
a. English
b. Modern Indian Language (MIL) – Assamese ,Bodo/ Alternative English.
c. Environmental Studies (in first year only).
